Printed Gospel
The elements of the publication are revealed on its frontispiece. It was published by Nicholaos Glykis in 1671, in Venice, where it is known that he had founded a printing and editing house. The Gospel is a re-edition of an earlier publication made by Antonios Pinellos in his personal workshop also in Venice, in early 17th century. As it revealed by the title’s elements, the present publication is corrected with great care and is dedicated to Meletios, Bishop of Philadelphia and revered Legate of the Patriarchal Throne.
